Most of us in most parts of the world, the first thing we do is brush our teeth. Without brushing our teeth some of us do not even love to converse with others. The mouth plays such an important role when it comes to our routine. These toothpaste act as a freshening agent by reducing bad odor from the mouth.

Let us see in this video. What are the different brands of India that manufacture toothpaste? To understand this, let us not confine ourselves just to the brands that are made here. Let us first categorize the toothpaste into different categories. This way we know what kind of toothpaste is safe.

The categories are done based on their composition. The more harmful chemicals they use, the worse their brands are. The last category is the best category that is full of herbals and is chemical-free.

One more important thing is that whiteness of teeth is not the only goal of good oral wellbeing. The other parts that have to be taken care off apart from the teeth are:

  • Gums
  • Tongue
  • Throat

Commercial Toothpaste

These are some commercial toothpaste that contains all kinds of chemicals. They have no restrictions on harming anything that it passes through. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is one example. This sole chemical is extremely harmful and with immediate effect, please consider changing the toothpaste if you find this chemical in the list of ingredients.

Please find below some of their negative effects on the human body:

  • Interferes in the functioning of taste buds, which is the reason why everything tastes bitter after you brush your teeth
  • Causes skin irritation and mouth ulcers
  • Used as insecticides in detergents
  • Lead to deposits in the heart, liver, lungs, and brain
  • Avoid silica and cellulose if suffering from gum disease or tooth decay
  • Silica and cellulose alter the acidic balance of the mouth, gums, and tongue

Commercial toothpaste without harmful chemicals

Though these toothpaste avoid extremely harmful chemicals like Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, they contain a reasonable amount of chemicals, intake of which can harm any human being slowly. They contain artificial colors, preservatives, and fluoride in them.

Though some time ago, fluoride was considered good and that it helped prevent tooth decay, in recent times research has proved that they are poisonous to an extent that intake of 2.8 grams of this chemical can kill a 50 kg adult. It is important to know this and avoid this as much as possible.

Non-Fluoridated Toothpaste

Knowing that fluoridated toothpaste is poisonous, this category removed them from their manufacturing. Apart from fluoride, the rest of the compositions are more or less the same as the previous category.

Chemical Free Fluoridated

This category is known for its herbal ingredients but has whiteners like fluoride added to them which still makes them dangerous irrespective of whether it is chemical-free or not.

Herbal Toothpaste with Artificial Colors and Preservatives

These are fluoride-free and are made of herbal ingredients. But they still contain artificial colors and preservatives that are harmful to a human body.

Very few Chemical Toothpaste

These are toothpaste that does not contain any artificial colors and are all manufactured using herbal ingredients. But, the only disadvantage is that they contain preservatives that are still considered as chemicals. They have to be watched out.

Chemical Free Total Herbal Toothpastes

The best category among toothpaste that can be used without any problems. They are only herbal and barred from all the chemicals that we have been writing in the previous categories.

Now that we have got a fair idea as to what category is safe and what is not you can choose the toothpaste based on your own decisions. We have just written the facts based on the ingredients that the pastes are made using.

Now let us go ahead in bringing up the brands that are made in India by Indians.
