ये ते सत्पुरुषाः परार्थघतकाः स्वार्थं परित्यज्य ये
सामान्यास्तु परार्थमुद्यमभृतः स्वार्थाविरोधेन ये |
ते मी मानुष राक्षसाः परहितं स्वार्थाय निघ्नन्ति ये
ये तु घ्नन्ति निरर्थकम् परहितं ते के न जानीमहे ||

Ye te satpurushah parartha ghatakaah swartham parityajya ye
Saamaanyastu paraartha-mudyatabhrutah swaarthaavirodhena ye |
Te mee maanusha raakshasaah parahitam swaarthaaya nighnanti ye
Ye tu ghnanti nirarthakam parahitam te ke na jaaneemahe ||

Literal meaning

The following are the types of people:
1. Satpurusha (Good people) : The people who help others without thinking about their own selves
2. Saamaanya (Common people) : These are people who help by expecting something in return in favour of them
3. Maanav Raakshasa ( demons in human form) : People who worsen other’s life for the sake of their own favour.
4. There is one more type of people who worsen other’s life for no sake, we don’t know what to call them.
